Data Deletion

You can request the deletion of your ChoreZap account and all associated data at any time.
What Gets Deleted
When you request account deletion, we will permanently remove:
- Your account information (name, email)
- Your household membership data
- Your chore completion history
- All associated personal data
How to Request Deletion
Option 1: In-app
- Open ChoreZap
- Go to Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your request
Option 2: Email
Send a deletion request to apps@coady.me from the email address associated with your account.
Processing Time
- Deletion requests are processed within 30 days
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
- Some anonymised, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- If you are the only admin of a household, the household will also be deleted
- Other housemates' data will not be affected (their own accounts and logs remain)
